Wessex Packaging Ltd. manufactures thermoformed, rigid plastic packaging, catering to the food and retail industries.

At this time we primarily produce:

• clamshell packages
• insert trays
• product display trays
• heat seal blisters
• slide packages.

The primary materials we use in processing are food grade and utility grade PETE and R-PET.

 

Here at Wessex Packaging, your satisfaction is our main priority. We facilitate the realization of your project by offering comprehensive service from design to production.

• Products are designed to customer specifications with input welcomed every step of the way. From the information gathered, sketches, and computer development, the final designs are made and a prototype mold is formed in our in-house CNC machine shop.
  
  
• Sample packages are produced from a proof run of the prototype mold, and we meet with the customer to modify or approve the design.
  


• Next, we build the production mold in aluminum and lay-out the final die-line for the finished product trimming.
  


• The final step is to set up and produce a pre-planned production run – our facility supports both small and high volume production.
  


• The finished product is visually inspected, then packed into shipping cartons lined with poly bags.
